Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate, born on 18th August, 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was the previous UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce and was an Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate also served as vice president for ONE Championship. At the time of her death, on October 3 2022 she was 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. She was a tomboy in her early years and often played on playgrounds with the other boys.

 Abromeit, an athlete of high rank at the age of 16 old, was given an award to Duke University in Durham (North Carolina) in North Carolina, for her sixth-place finish in junior tennis in the United States. After graduation from the university Abromeit was enthralled by performing and music and she chose to pursue a career in the area. She is an actor as well as a guitar player.
